About Me

I have been teaching at Arcata High School since 1995. Presently, I teach three periods of ninth grade Health and am the Dean of Chronic Absenteeism.  I earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Physical Education, a Master of Arts Degree in Education and a Clear Administrative Credential locally at Humboldt State University. I played basketball in college and coached basketball at Arcata High from 1991- 2014.  My hobbies include sports, long distance running, backpacking and fitness. I am married and have two children, Colton 22, and Kaylin 19.
