Kayla Gaskill (KG)

Greetings! I go by Ms. KG and I’m grateful to be working with budding creatives here in the Fine Arts program at Arcata High School. 

My credentials: I have an Associate’s degree in Studio Art from West Valley College, a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art & Art Education, as well as a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art, both from HSU/Cal Poly Humboldt.

What I expect from students: Engagement, integrity, responsibility, cleanliness, communication, a growth mindset, engagement, and respect– to themselves, to everyone in the classroom and beyond, and to all the tools we use for our artistic endeavors.
