Mary Jane Finnigan

Hello — I’m Mary Jane Finnigan!

I’ve been a special education teacher for 21 years.

I started my career teaching at the high school level, and have enjoyed the last 18 years in junior high.

I earned my bachelor’s degree at Cal State Los Angeles, and my teaching credential at Cal State Bakersfield and National University.

I also have an autism certification from the University of Phoenix.

I am originally from Spain and have lived in Southern California for the past 35 years, where my husband and I raised four delightful children before moving to Humboldt County.

I’m now excited to be a member of the Arcata High School community — Go, Tigers!
