AHS will host the PSAT on October 30th in the FAB at 8:30am. Students can pay for their exam starting on Monday, September 16th, with the final deadline to pay being September 22nd. The PSAT is $20 and can be purchased online. The PSAT is for juniors wanting to attend university. However, not all universities require the SAT anymore. UCs and CSUs no longer consider the exam as part of their admissions process.
If you plan on applying to an out of state school, you may want to consider taking the PSAT, although it is best to do your own research on whether those schools require the SAT or not. You can find and pay for the PSAT HERE
