Social Science

The Social Science department at Arcata High School offers a variety of courses:

 

During the Sophomore year, students have the opportunity to take either College Preparatory World History or Dual Enrollment Western Civilization.

During the Junior year, students have the opportunity to take either College Preparatory US History or Dual Enrolment US History.

During the Senior year, students have the opportunity to take either College Preparatory US Government/Economics or AP US Government and Politics and/or AP Macroeconomics.

 

We offer the elective of Psychology/Sociology to juniors and seniors.
