I hold degrees in Art Education, Studio Art, and Art History. I received my teaching credential from the former Humboldt State University in 2011 and have taught art through HSU’s Extended Education and the former Mattole Valley Charter School (currently Northern United). I am currently a fine arts teacher at Arcata High School, Six Rivers Charter High School and Pacific Coast. I received Humboldt County’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2022. I am an active artist. I focus primarily on drawing, printmaking, painting, and photography.
