About Ms. Holladay
Hi I’m Neva Holladay,
I am so excited to be working at Arcata High, where I was once a student! I have been teaching at AHS since 2019. I am located in room 209. I am so fortunate to work at such a great school. Currently, I am teaching Personal Finance & Integrated Mathematics II.
I am a graduate of College of the Redwoods and Humboldt State, where I earned my BA in mathematics, 2000. I went on for a Maters in mathematics (MS) completed all the coursework and taught mathematics at HSU & CR. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances out of my control, I was only able to complete my thesis for the MS at HSU. I was the EL and title 1 aide at AHS in 2014/15 school year, where I decided to go back to school. I earned my Teacher’s credential and MA in math education from UC Davis, while living and working as a full time as a math teacher in the Sacramento area.
I enjoy being outside, hanging with my pups, spending time with loved ones, board games, rhythm skating, and dancing!
